Kids, Reading and Libraries

Reading, and learning to read is quite complicated.  Not only do you need to be able to sound out the symbols seen in print you need to apply an meaning to them.  Yet this wonderfuly complex ablity is a crtical skill in our society.

Libraries can help.
Your library provides a safe fun place to read and learn during the school year and especially in the summer month.  We of course have resources, and research materials, but we also provide nice people who want to help you find that book that will make you go…”Ooh can I have another?  They want to make you laugh at a good joke, puzzle and ponder through a problem, wow you with programs, and find joy in read.
